Truth is a men's study group which is open to all men of the Parish.  We gather at 7AM on Saturday mornings year around at Saint Catherine School.  Each week we open with a short prayer followed by viewing videos on a pertinent topic on the church's teachings or scripture.  The videos often feature popular Catholic speakers such as Bishop Barron, Jeff Cavins, Edward Sri, Father Mike Schmitz, Tim Gray, et al.  Topics have included challenges facing Catholic men in today’s world, The Bible Timeline, Church History, lives of Fathers of the Church and key Saints.  The presentation is followed by a small group discussion.  Besides learning more about our faith, we have a chance to offer support to each other through times of illness or other troubles.   For over 10 years, groups of men have been gathering in the school dining room on Saturday mornings to challenge each other in learning our faith and becoming better witnesses to the Gospel at home, in our neighborhoods and at work. The goal of Truth! is to learn more about our Catholic faith, Sacred Scripture, theology and philosophy in an understandable way. Our mission is to encourage, support, and challenge each other to live faithful lives in our various roles as men.
