For over 10 years, groups of men have been gathering in the school dining room on Saturday mornings to challenge each other in learning our faith and becoming better witnesses to the Gospel at home, in our neighborhoods and at work.
The goal of Truth! is to learn more about our Catholic faith, Sacred Scripture, theology and philosophy in an understandable way. Our mission is to encourage, support, and challenge each other to live faithful lives in our various roles as men.
For the 2019-20 academic year the men of Truth will host a series of 3 programs for all men age 18 or over, regardless of where they are in the faith walk.
Begins September 7
Discover the Source of True Freedom
When God called Israel out of slavery in Egypt and to a life of freedom as his people, it was the defining moment in Israel’s history. The Exodus: Called to Freedom study program looks through the lens of Christ and the Church to show that, more than just seeking to free his people from the domination of Pharaoh, God desired to free his people from the far more dangerous grip of sin.
In this 10-session study, Presenter Tim Gray explains how the Exodus story is not just Israel’s story, but our story as well because it reveals who God is and what he calls us to be. Discover the divine purpose behind the plagues on Egypt and how God’s law reflects his love and concern. Learn the keys to authentic freedom and how a proper understanding of Exodus can illuminate one’s understanding of the Christian faith.

Unpack the Mysteries of Revelation
Perhaps no book in the Bible fascinates people more than Revelation. Yet relatively few people have studied the book, especially from a Catholic perspective. Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come is an intriguing 11-session study program that shows how the kingdom established by Christ in his Church is intimately connected with the kingdom of heaven.
In Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come, presenter Jeff Cavins pulls back the veil on the rich symbolism present in Revelation. Discover what the mysterious figures and images of Revelation mean and see how Revelation is more than an apocalyptic vision of the “end times.” Explore the Church’s teaching on the second coming of Christ and the Last Judgment. Understand how God, the Divine Bridegroom, and the Church, his spotless bride, enter into a heavenly, holy, and mystical marriage every time we celebrate Mass.

Filmed on location in the Holy Land, No Greater Love is a five-part video series and full-length book that reveals Christ’s amazing love for us. Best-selling author Edward Sri guides you through the last hours of Christ's life in this biblical pilgrimage.
While taking this study or reading this book, you will walk step-by-step with Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Mount of Calvary.
Every step of the way, biblical experts reveal how Old Testament prophecies, messianic expectations, biblical symbolism, and historical context shed light on the mystery of Christ's suffering and death.
With these insights, Catholics can come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of God’s immeasurable and unconditional love—drawing closer to Jesus than ever have before.
Authored and presented by Edward Sri, No Greater Love also features: Fr. Mike Schmitz, Jeff Cavins, Jennifer Fulwiler, Curtis Martin, Teresa Tomeo, Fr. Josh Johnson, and Elizabeth Sri.
In this study, you will discover:
The Biblical background to each scene in Christ's passion.
What was Jesus going through at each moment?
How did the Old Testament foretell of Christ’s death?
Why did Christ die for us? What did it accomplish?
What was the meaning behind of the tearing of the temple veil, the crowning with thorns, and other events during Christ’s Passion?
Edward Sri also unpacks commonly misunderstood sayings of Jesus, such as:
“Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass?”—Was Jesus thinking of backing out at the last minute?
“My God, my God why have you abandoned me?”—Was Jesus really abandoned by the Father on the cross?
“You have said so.”—What does that mean?
Most of all, Catholics who take this study will encounter God’s love to the fullest.
Pope Benedict XVI invites us to think of the Passion, not just as suffering, but also as the passion of a lover. For in the cross, we see God fully revealed as “a lover with all the passion of a true love".
Jesus doesn’t want our applause. He wants our hearts. Are you ready to draw closer to Jesus in his passion than you ever have before?
