Please join in, and help our parish collect food for the less fortunate at Thanksgiving. Click the title for more information. We are also accepting monetary donations to help purchase the turkeys. Please - no refrigerated items. All food must be brought to the parish office no later than Monday, November 12th.
As always, for the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed (All Souls Day), envelopes will be provided in each pew (weekend of Sunday, October 28) as we prepare for this beautiful and most Catholic day, dedicated to All Souls. Please complete the envelope and place it in the offertory, mail it or drop it by the parish office. Parishioners are also welcome to bring photos of deceased loved ones to the parish office. We will display the photos on a table with flowers in the church in front of the Divine Mercy Shrine throughout the month of November. There is no deadline: the envelopes, pictures, etc. will be in the church the entire month of November. Parishioners may come back to pick up pictures in December or if you leave a name and number on the back, we will call them when we take the table down.
Please sign up to pray the rosary for an hour on election day. Our intention is for the United States of America to elect holy leaders who uphold the Church's teachings in all areas, but most especially the Catholic Church's teachings on the sanctity of life. Using the Battle of Lepanto as our example, we plead our needs to the Blessed Mother from the time the election polls open until they close at night. Click the title to sign up.
