Wedding/Convalidation Couples
Congratulations on your up-coming marriage. It is a privilege for us to be part of your preparation for your journey into marriage. Each couple is responsibile for purchasing Workbooks and three Supplements to use with their mentor couples.

Fully Engaged Mentor Couple Resources
Fully Engaged offer's great resources for you to use with the couple you that you are asigned to. There is a minimum of atleast three meetings with the couple. During these meeting you will meet your couple in person and discuss many topics that include:
-Differences -Division of Labor -Recreation - Family of Origin -Communication
-Conflict Resolution -Catholic Identity -Finances -Intimacy
At minimum of three to five sessions are required for mentor couples to meet with couples in marriage preparation.
Mentors: How many topics do you cover at the first session? Is three sessions enough? What homework do you assign prior to first session? What question in your section seems to foster the most discussion?Do you enjoy having the engaged couple over at your house? How does it enhance or distract from the sessions? What lessons have the engaged couples learned by visiting your home? Who does most of the talking? You, them, or about even?

Couple Biography
We invite you to share a short biography about the journey and special experiences that have led you to celebrate your Wedding/Convalidation at St. Catherine of Siena. Please include details about how you met, your first date, your proposal story and the most important experiences together. Details regarding your faith, hobbies, occupation, education, interests, etc. will help us match you with a couple who have similar interests. We suggest that you share personal details that define who you are as a couple and your faith.
Questions to think about when writing your biography:
What do you love about each other?
How are we going to focus on our faith together?
How will we raise our kids and instill religion into their lives?
What do you hope for in your future together?
What insights can you offer about your relationship?
