The mission of the Comfort Committee is to provide a reception at the church hall to grieving families and friends following funeral services. We plan and serve meals as directed by the pastor and the family’s wishes. From a simple tea and cookie reception, to a Lenten meal of soup and salad, it is our desire to meet the family’s request.
 
 It has been our privilege to serve our church families who have lost babies, great-grandparents, spouses, teenagers, community leaders, our own pastors, and even families of different faiths.
